Physiotherapy for HYROX training in Nottingham
Preparing for your first HYROX, training for doubles or returning after time away? We start with your concerns, your training and what you want to work towards.
Assessment first. Individual next steps.
When training raises questions
Pain changing your run? A concern during sled work, lunges or wall balls? Returning after an injury? Bring it to an individual clinical assessment. You do not need to know the name of an injury before booking. If you are training comfortably, entering a race alone does not mean you need treatment.
Your assessment, step by step
1. Listen
Your symptoms, training week, relevant history and goals.
2. Assess
Relevant clinical checks, explained and agreed with you.
3. Explain
Discuss the findings, uncertainty and appropriate options.
4. Plan
Agree the next steps and how to review progress.

Questions before you book
What is the Race Ready Performance Assessment?
An individual initial physiotherapy assessment for adults with HYROX training concerns. Race Ready is its campaign name; choose Physiotherapy – Initial Consultation in Zanda.
How much does it cost?
The standard initial assessment is £70 for 60 minutes. Check the fee shown in Zanda before confirming. There is no compulsory package or monthly subscription.
Is this for first-time HYROX participants?
Yes. Your experience level does not need to be high. The assessment begins with your individual concerns and goals, rather than a required performance standard.
Do I need an Everlast gym membership?
No. You do not need to be an Everlast member to attend your clinic appointment.
Will this tell me if I am safe to race?
This is not a certificate of fitness to compete. Your clinician can discuss your individual situation, appropriate assessment and referral where needed. Race participation and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
What should I choose when booking?
Check Nottingham Physio @ Everlast+ Gyms, then select Physiotherapy – Initial Consultation. Check the clinician, time, fee and terms. Zanda confirms a completed booking.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes for movement, relevant reports or your current rehabilitation plan if you have one, and your questions. A rough picture of your training week and event date can help.
Will I get treatment at the first appointment?
Assessment comes first. Your clinician will discuss suitable options; any treatment depends on your presentation, consent and available time. Referral may be more appropriate.
Does this include a full HYROX training programme?
No. This is an initial physiotherapy appointment, not an ongoing coaching subscription, nutrition plan or full performance-testing package.
Which physiotherapist will I see?
Clinician names and current availability are shown in Zanda. Check your chosen clinician before confirming. No individual clinician is promised by this campaign page.
Is Race Ready affiliated with HYROX?
No official affiliation is claimed. Race Ready is a Nottingham Physio campaign for people training for HYROX.
Can I send symptoms through Instagram?
Please do not send medical records, injury photographs or detailed symptoms through social media. We cannot diagnose, prescribe rehabilitation or clear you to race in social messages.
What if I need urgent help?
Do not wait for a physiotherapy booking or a social-media reply if you need urgent medical help. Use NHS 111 for urgent advice and call 999 in a life-threatening emergency.
