Padel Injuries we can help with

Padel Elbow

Pain and/or inflammation on the outer part of the elbow, typically caused by repetitive stress or overuse of the forearm muscles involved in hitting the ball, especially with improper technique or excessive force.

Padel Knee

Padel knee typically results from the repetitive movements, sudden starts, stops, and lateral shifts common in padel. It can lead to irritation, inflammation, or damage to the structures around the knee, such as the tendons, ligaments, or cartilage.

Padel Shoulder

A shoulder pain or injury that occurs as a result of a lot of overhead movements, quick arm swings, and repetitive shoulder motions. Similar to other overuse injuries seen in racquet sports, padel shoulder, typically results from stress and strain on the shoulder muscles, tendons, and joints.

Padel Foot

involves pain and inflammation, commonly related to the plantar fascia, heel, or forefoot. Padel players are especially susceptible to these injuries due to the constant running, lateral movements, and frequent pivoting.

Treatments For Padel Injuries

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is an innovative, non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing and reduce pain in the body. It’s especially effective for chronic injuries that haven’t responded to other therapies. At Nottingham Physio, we use shockwave therapy to help patients recover faster from conditions such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and chronic pain. Whether you’re an athlete or dealing with long-term discomfort, this advanced therapy could be the key to getting back to full strength.

Sport Massage

Sports Massage Therapy isn’t just for professional athletes. It’s a specialised form of massage aimed at addressing specific issues related to physical activity and performance. Our skilled therapists utilise a range of techniques to alleviate muscle tension, improve flexibility, and enhance recovery, ensuring you can continue pursuing your passions with vigour and resilience.
