Johnny’s qualifications include a Master’s in Sport & Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham, a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from St. George’s University of London, and a BSc (Hons) in Sport Science from St. Mary’s University College. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Manual Therapy with MACP accreditation. Additionally, he served as the Medical Lead for the England Masters Football Team, leading the medical efforts during two World Cup campaigns.

Johnny's current focus is on the development of developing and implementing a Structured Coaching Curriculum to provide clear, progressive pathways for Coaches & Players of all ages and skill levels. The curriculum is designed to enable coaches to effectively teach the fundamental skills and strategies of Gaelic Football and Hurling by incorporating modern coaching techniques and sports science principles - making it one of the most progressive programs in the sport.
