I’m a Sports Rehabilitation Graduate with a wealth of experience of working with all types of patients ranging from professional athletes to weekend warriors and from the “good weather” gardener to the office professional.
Regardless of your profession I help people who have low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain etc and help them transition back to pain free function, be that just carrying out activities around the house or at work, or more demanding activities and hobbies.
I do my best to help my patients understand their problem and the rehabilitation journey itself. I aim to empower my patients with education, as well as offer treatments like shockwave, manual therapy and exercise to help reduce pain levels and restore function quicker.
Currently I'm working at Nottingham Physio and Nottingham Trent University Sports Injury Clinic. Previously I've been working at Notts County Football Club and within the NHS in musculoskeletal outpatient clinic.
In summer 2018 and 2019 I travelled to Thailand and worked as a lead clinician providing medical care for England Seniors Squad during Seniors Football World Cup.

Holly has a background in gym instructing and sport massage, moving into injury rehabilitation after graduating with an MSc in Sport Therapy.
She loves to play sport, competing in Netball and more recently Crossfit. She understands the impact an injury can have on your wellbeing, choosing to pursue her degree following an injury which motivated her to help others in their recovery.
Discovering the underlying reasons for your pain or injury and developing a progressive rehabilitation plan, alongside improving overall strength and educating on injury prevention techniques, is key to long term recovery. Sport therapy is a great tool to ensure readiness to return to your chosen sport following an injury (for example ankle sprains, ligament injuries – these will likely reoccur if your only treatment is rest!). It is also suitable for those who experience pain from their everyday life, in particular sport massage can be a great addition for overall wellbeing. Alongside relieving pain and discomfort, it can reduce stress and improve performance and the risk of injury.
Holly has experience in a range of settings – from working with athletes to being in clinics using manual therapy and exercise to help people return to living pain free day to day lives. Most weekends she is pitchside providing sport therapy and first aid to local and regional rugby union teams most weekends after spending time working at Nottingham Rugby. She has also travelled with the cast of musical theatre and worked at ultra marathon events providing support.
Holly offers injury rehabilitation, from acute to return to play, as well as assisting in injury prevention; recovery from every day aches and pains and sport massage.

Hey guys my name is Dan and I am a sports massage therapist. After playing professional ice hockey for thirteen years and representing the Nottingham Panthers for seven I have transitioned into the world of massage therapy.
I am a level four therapist and have been working in the field for eight years now. I have worked with a wide range of clients but mainly treating sports athletes at the University of Nottingham.
I find massage therapy is especially beneficial for people who exercise a lot, play a lot of sport and also people who have a desk based job. Away from work I enjoy a range of sports from football to boxing and training at the gym.
